Oneida Girls Can't Keep Up With Mt. St. Mary

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The middle of the game turned out to be the difference on Friday as Mt. St. Mary outscored Oneida 31-8 in the second and third quarters to pull away for a 51-34 win in the opening round of RFA's holiday tournament.

Oneida led 12-6 after the first quarter, but Mt. St. Mary outscored the Lady Indians 17-3 in the second and 14-5 in the third.

Mt. St. Mary will take on Proctor, a 53-49 winner over host RFA, in the championship game Saturday at noon.  Oneida plays RFA in the consolation game at 10:30 a.m.
