Baldwinsville wins New Hartford Invitational

SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Running, jumping and throwing through rain drops on Friday, the Baldwinsville boys track and field team ran, jumped and threw its way to overall team victory at the 56th New Hartford Invitational at Sauquoit Valley.

Baldwinsville collected 71 points to narrowly beat Cicero-North Syracuse by two.  West Genesee placed third with 58 points and Rome Free Academy was the highest-placing local team in fourth with 52.5.

New Hartford, which has never won its invitational and had to host this year's event off-site due to construction on its field, came in 10th with 28 points.
