Boys Basketball: Spartans roll with TVL win over Oneida

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford boys basketball team used a big third quarter run to beat Tri-Valley League rival Oneida 70-53 Friday Night. Derek German led all Spartans with 20 points, while Oneida's Kyle Peck scored a game high 23.
New Hartford (10-4, 8-2 TVL) led 33-28 at halftime, but extended that led in the third, taking as much as a 20 point lead.
Jordan Henderson added 16 points for the Spartans while Mark Chanatry had 12.
Oneida fell to 4-9 on the season with the loss, 2-6 in the TVL.
