Boys Basketball:Warriors top Indians 62-57

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - After trailing briefly in the first quarter, the Whitesboro Warriors never relinquished the lead again en route to a 62-57 win over Oneida it what turned out to be the only high school basketball game in the area on Friday night.

Mike Bunal led the Warriors with 15 points while Ryan Watson chipped in 14. Brendan Heitz and Bradee Holtslag each scored 11 for the Warriors, who improve to 6-2 on the season.

Benn DeRocker of Oneida led all scorers with 26 points. Kyle Peck scored 14 in the loss. Oneida drops to 5-2.
