Girls Basketball: Oriskany tops Frankfort in tourney opener

ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV) - A week of high school holiday basketball tournaments began Monday with Oriskany beating Frankfort-Schuyler 42-33. The Redskins advance to face Mohawk in the tourney championship, Tuesday at 8 p.m.
The Mohicans pulled off a huge upset in their first game, 52-47 over NY Mills. Mohawk outscored the Marauders 23-15 in the final quarter to pull off the win.
Oriskany was led by Christina Graziadei, who had a game high 14 points, and Meghan Carlo, who added 12. Alexandra Palumbo and Kathryn Tamburro each had 9 points for Frankfort.
Other teams hosting holiday tournaments this week include the Proctor boys (Tuesday and Wednesday) and the NY Mills boys (The Ed Wadas Classic, Wednesday & Thursday).
