Spartans stay unbeaten in Division II East

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Spartans remain undefeated in Division II East after a 9-4 win over Proctor on Tuesday night. Jason Fitzgerald led the way for the Spartans with two goals and two assists. Ryan Allesandro scored two goals for Proctor in the loss.

The Spartans jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first five minutes into the game and led 5-1 after the first period. They took a 7-2 lead into the third when Proctor scored two quick goals to cut the lead to 7-4. However the Spartans would tack on two more to improve to 8-2 overall, 6-0 in the league. The Raiders are 0-5 in the league and 2-8 overall.
