Stamboly wins #300 as Raiders defeat Liverpool

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor Raiders beat Liverpool 65-53 on Friday to advance in the Class AA semifinals. The win gives head coach Norm Stamboly victory #300 for his career.

The Warriors came out aggressive in this one and led by four after one. However the Raiders went on a 10-0 run to take a 32-24 lead into the half. The Warriors would get as close as four before Proctor took control again in the fourth.

Jayson Jackson led the Raiders with 13 points 8 steals and 7 assists. Wendell Wright added 12 points including 8 in the fourth quarter. Walkery Mills chipped in 10 points.

The Raiders will next face Henninger at a neutral site next week at a site and date to be determined on Monday.
