Raiders upset Henninger

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor Raiders weren't supposed to beat Henninger this early in the season. Just one problem, someone forgot to tell the Raiders. They topped the Black Knights 68-56 to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Proctor outscored Henninger 25-13 in the second quarter. The Knights cut the lead to six in the fourth quarter but the Raiders held on for the win avenging the Class AA final loss at the Aud last season. The Raiders did so with a completely new starting five while Henninger welcomed back several players from that championship team.

Maurice Mills led the Raiders with 14 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Naron Harvey added 12 points and Chris Simmons added ten.

Tommy Spinner scored 25 for the Black Knights in the loss.
