Proctor bounces rival RFA


UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - In matchup of now former league rivals, the Proctor boys basketball team beat RFA 70-47 Thursday night at the Arcuri Athletic Complex.  Maurice Mills led the Raiders with 19 points, 15 rebounds and seven steals, while Chris Simmons added 14 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

It was just an 18-15 Proctor lead at the end of the first quarter, and just a 45-37 game as late as the fourth quarter, but the Raiders ultimately pulled away.  Justin Henry had the RFA high, with 12 points.

RFA, now competing in the Tri-Valley League, fell to 7-2 overall, though remains undefeated in the TVL, at 6-0.  Proctor improved to 6-0 with the win.
