Proctor clinches at least tie for TVL title


ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor boys basketball team beat rival RFA 63-51 Tuesday night and at 8-0 in their first season in the Tri-Valley League, have clinched at least a share of the title.  The Raiders are 13-3 on the season.

Proctor jumped out to an 18-9 lead at the end of the first quarter, then 25-10 in the second, before the Black Knights came back.  But the Raiders still took a 35-22 lead to halftime and hung on from there.

Tyvon Reed led Proctor with 17 points.  The Raiders will host Whitesboro Friday, while RFA visits New Hartford.
