Girls Basketball: Proctor falls to C-NS in AA final

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Section III Class AA Championship Sunday at the Utica Memorial Auditorium featured two future Big East players, with C-NS winning its third straight section title, 52-38 over Proctor. Pitt bound Brianne Kiesel scored a game high 23 points for the Raiders, but her future UConn rival, Breanna Stewart took home the tournament MVP. She had 16 points in the final.
The Raiders, who had never made a section final before in girls basketball, finished the season at 18-3.
