Remsen girls win first ever regional, headed to Final 4

CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Remsen Ladyu Rams beat Milford 3-1on Saturday to advance to the final four next week.

Remsen was ready for battle early and it showed. About six minutes in Brittany Waterbury fed Erin O'Connor for a goal to give them a 1-0 lead. Just past the midway point of the half, O'Connor had a great cross pass to Joleen Marfone for a goal to give Remsen a 2-0 halftime lead.

In the second half, the Lady Rams continued to play aggressive. Alexis Childers set up O'Connor beautifully for her second goal of the game and that was more than enough. MIlford would tally on a goal from Kaylee Chase with five minutes left.

Remsen will face Smithtown Christian from Section XI on Friday at 11:45 a.m. at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
