Remsen stays perfect with win at Poland


POLAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Remsen girls soccer team is continuing where they left off last year, when they went to the Class D final four, beating Poland 5-1 Saturday.  The Lady Rams improved to 5-0 with the win, while dealing Poland their first defeat of the year.

The O'Connor twins were big factors once again as Erin had two goals and Ashley had a goal and an assist.  Joleen Marfone also added a pair of goals for Remsen, two of the team's three in the first half.

Paige Sullivan had the lone goal for Poland.  Courtney Green had 12 saves in the Poland net, while Megan Will had 10 for Remsen.
