South Jefferson Wins Tri-Valley League Wrestling Tournament

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - South Jefferson wrestled away the Tri-Valley League Wrestling Tournament title on Saturday at Whitesboro, claiming a 50-point win over second-place Holland Patent.

The tournament, held for the eighth straight year at Whitesboro and condensed to a one-day event due to Friday's snowstorm, featured 18 schools from across the state.  The overall team results were:

1. South Jefferson, 218 points
2. Holland Patent, 168
3. Mexico, 165.5
4. V-V-S, 113.5
5. Morrisville-Eaton, 102
6. Corcoran, 93.5
7. Cicero-North Syracuse, 93
8. Ballston Spa, 92
9. Whitesboro, 91
10. Chittanango, 90
11. New Hartford, 84
12. Cazenovia, 65
13. Camden, 64.5
14. RFA, 60.5
15. Oneida, 54.5
16. Little Falls, 53
17. Dolgeville, 18
18. Clinton.
