Proctor Boys Hang On To Beat RFA

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor Raiders were outscored in the final three quarters but held on to beat RFA 59-58 on Friday night. Matt Cummings led the way with 15 points.

Proctor had a 12-0 run in the first quarter and led by 10 going into the second quarter. RFA though kept chipping away, trailing by five at the half and three after three. The Black Knights were down three with four second to go and scored two points but could not get the ball back from Proctor. Mark Capponi led all scorers with 22 points including six three pointers. This was the closest game between the two schools in years.

Rahmel Brown and Mike Scotellaro scored 14 points apiece for the Raiders who improve to 6-8. RFA drops to 1-9.
