Spartans Skate Past RFA 7-1

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Spartans continued their dominance over Division II East opponents this season with the 7-1 win over RFA on Saturday night.

Mike Zalewski tallied three goals and Andrew Kelleher added two goals and an assist of his own. Zalewski now has 57 points on the season, tops in the league. Clay Whittemore and Jake Silberlicht had two assists each. Dylan Smith needed just six saves.

Mike Endres stopped 34 of 41 shots for RFA. Matt Dematteo scored the lone goal for the Black Knights who dropped to 11-10-2 overall, 7-4-2 in the league.

New Hartford is now 20-2 overall, 13-0 in the league.
