Three area golfers wrap up state tournament

ITHACA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The 2009 State Golf Tournament is in the books. New Hartford eighth grader Derek Bard shot a final round 82  to finish tied for 30th overall. That's the best showing of the three golfers from this area.

Dominic Bozzelli from McQuaid Jesuit High School shot a final round 69 to win by five shots over Yarik Markulov from Penfield High School. Both schools are in Section V. Travis Basciotta from Oriskany shot a final round 81 to finish tied for 47th while Eamon Dempsey finished tied for 70th after scoring a final round 89.
