RFA's season ends thanks to Nottingham

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The RFA girls basketball team lost to Nottingham 53-43 Tuesday in the first round of the Class AA Section III tournament.  The Black Knights led 12-9 after the first quarter, but Nottingham rolled after that, taking a 29-24 lead at the half and never looking back.

Seniors Allyson Eggan and Leigh Shoemaker led RFA, each scoring 13 points.  Eggan also had six rebounds, three steals and two assists, while Shoemaker added five rebounds.

China Agnew led all scorers with 15, while Ja'Leasa Worley added 12 for Nottingham, who advances to the Quarterfinals, Friday at C-NS.
