Whitesboro Comes Back To Beat RFA 65-61

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Warriors were shocked in the first quarter but in the end pulled out a 65-61 win over RFA on Monday. The non-league scare could soon become a league game as RFA and Proctor are petitioning to become members of the Tri-Valley. There is a meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning on the issue.

As for the game, RFA started the game on an 18-0 run. Whitesboro battled back to cut the lead to 10 at the half. The difference was in the third quarter. The Warriors began with a 13-0 run and outscored the Knights 28-10. Mike Ryan led Whitesboro with 23 points while Junior Woodard chipped in 16.

RFA was led by Tom Williams who scored 25 points. Eric Williams scored 14 in the loss.
