Little Falls advances to section semifinal with a win over Sauquoit

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Little Falls Mounties avenged an earlier season loss to Sauquoit by beating the Indians 2-1 on Thursday night.

This one was a pitchers duel all the way. Evan Davis got the win for Little Falls. He struck out five and pitched a complete game two-hitter. Indians starting pitcher was just as sharp striking out eight batters in a complete game effort. Devin Mannuzza had the game winning RBI in the 5th inning to break a 1-1 tie.

Little Falls will face the winner of Pulaski and South Lewis on Saturday. Sauquoit finishes 12-7.
