WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit Valley Indians were the ones with all the experience back. Someone forgot to tell Mt. Markham. The younger, less-experienced Mustangs pulled off the upset over Sauquoit 12-0 on Friday.

Dan Roberts took the opening kick-off 85 yards for the games only touchdown. Rain clearly effected play in this game effectively shutting down Sauquoit's potent passing attack. That let the Mustangs key on the Indians running game. A Roberts field goal and a Sauquoit safety accounted for the rest of the Mustangs' points.

Mt. Markham improves to 1-1, 1-0 in the league while the Indians drop to 1-1, 0-1 in the Class C South.
