Sauquoit makes the playoffs with a win over Sherburne

SAUQUOIT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit Valley Indians are back in the post season after a 28-0 win over Sherburne on Friday night.

The Indians got big games from Steve Szatko and Nick Critelli. Critelli caught seven passes for 172 yards and a touchdown while Szatko rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns while also throwing for a score.  Brett Rounsville also had a rushing touchdown.

The big stat though was in the Indians defense. They allowed just 34 yards rushing and 16 yards passing.

Sauquoit (2-3, 3-3) will now face Cooperstown in the first round of the Class C playoffs next week.
