CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit Valley lady Indians continue their awesome ride in 2009 by beating Tully 8-0 in the Class C-1 final on Wednesday.

Sauquoit started the scoring not even a minute into the game on a goal by Amanda Orsino with an assist from Sierra Kiss. Orsino had a hat trick on the night while Kiss and Elisa Marchone each chipped in two goals. Alexandra Benn scored as well.

For head coach Tim Clive, its his fourth section title during his tenure at Sauquoit. He knew coming into the season that this team was special and says this is only the begining. He knew his girls need to come out fast and set the tone. "I told my girls if we get the touch, we go right down throat and that's what we did." Following the game, the lady Indians were treated to a special escort into school.

Next up for Sauquoit is Bishop Ludden in the overall Class C final on Saturday. Ludden beat Notre Dame 2-1 to win the Class C-2 title.
