Sauquoit girls soccer falls in state finalCORTLAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit Girls soccer team was defeated by Stony Brook 2-1 in the Class C State Final on Saturday. The lady Indians scored in the first half on a goal by Amanda Orsino to take a 1-0 lead. Stony Brook would tie the game on a Donna Liotine goal that would make it 1-1 at the half. Michelle Hennessy scored the game winner early in the second half. Sauquoit finishes 22-1. Stony Brook wins its first ever state title finishing 13-5-2 Most Popular |
