H.S. Football:Frankfort comes back to beat Sauquoit

SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Frankfort-Schuyler scored a fourth quarter touchdown then ran out the clock to hold on to win 24-17 on Friday night.
Joe DeSarro threw for two first quarter touchdowns, one to Mike Irons, the other to Mitch Schwartz. That gave the Maroon Knights a 16-0 lead.
Sauquoit would answer with a Tom Jalowiec touchdown run and a Rob Slivinski touchdown pass to Justin Dempsey. Slivinski also kicked a field goal.
In the fourth, Mitchel Short scored from one yard out to give Frankfort the lead for good. He finished with 111 yards rushing on the night.
Frankfort will host Little Falls next Friday while Sauquoit goes to Waterville-Madison.
