SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The second seeded Sauquoit Valley Indians took care of business at home by beating South Lewis 9-0 in the Class C-1 quarterfinals.
Senior Steve Szatko was sharp on the mound striking out 10 for the win. Mark Martin went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI.
The Indians improve to 14-3 and will the winner of Tully/Little Falls in the semifinal on Saturday.
