Waterville Girls Wash Out Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - Visiting Waterville held Westmoreland without a field goal in the second quarter on Saturday and used a 13-3 run to help its way to a 50-38 win.

Westmoreland led 16-12 after the first quarter but the pivotal second quarter gave Waterville a 25-19 lead at halftime.  The Lady Indians played better overall in the second half to stay ahead for the victory.

Katie Buell led Waterville with 13 points while Jenna Fallon scored 12.  Molly Peckham led Westmoreland with 16 points.

Waterville is now 7-4 overall; Westmoreland is 2-8.
