Cooperstown Boys Hang On To Beat Waterville 55-51

WATERVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Cooperstown Redskins beat Waterville 55-51 in a close matchup on Monday night. Ryan Davine led the way with 15 points.

Both teams got off to slow starts with the Redskins leading by just three after the first quarter and by four at the half. However in a back and forth second half, the Indians had a four point lead going into the fourth quarter. Cooperstown would go up five with three minutes to go. Waterville cut it to two with under a minute to go but could not come all the way back. Brad Ashford chipped in 12 points. Cooperstown improves to 4-0 in the league 11-1 overall.

Viktor Selyuzhitskiy led the Indians with 16 points. They drop to 6-8 overall.
