Waterville Girls Lose Offense, C-2 Semifinal To Bishop Grimes

CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Waterville girls basketball team forgot to bring its offense with it to Chittenango on Saturday, and the result was an ugly 40-24 loss to Bishop Grimes in the Section III, Class C-2 semifinals.

Bishop Grimes, the No. 2 seed, led 10-1 after the first quarter and 18-8 at halftime.

The Lady Cobras improve to 19-2 and advance to play top-seeded Mohawk in the championship game Wednesday at RFA at 6:00.

Waterville, the No. 3 seed, ends the season 15-6.
