Clinton gets big first win of season

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Clinton Warriors picked up a huge victory in their second game of 2010, 27-14 at home Saturday against Waterville. Jeff Ostrander led the way for the Warriors, rushing the football 21 times for 135 yards, including a 14 yard touchdown in the third quarter.
Joe Gaetano completed three passes for 54 yards, and a 22 yard TD pass in the second quarter to Doyle Cody. Tom Kolb scored the first TD of the game, a seven yard run in the first. Clinton led it 13-0 at halftime.
Waterville's two scores came on a 35 yard TD reception by Matt Scarlett in the third quarter, and a six yard TD run by Jordan Henderson in the fourth.
Clinton (1-1) will host Westmoreland next Saturday, while Waterville (0-2) will go to Sandy Creek Friday.
