NEWPORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The West Canada Valley Indians picked up a big win in Class D East, 41-8 Saturday over Waterville. The Indians had lost two straight close games to Westmoreland and Dolgeville, so getting back on the winning track was huge.
Ryan Moody threw two touchdown passes to Ryan Grogan in the game, the first opened the scoring in the first quarter and the second gave WCV a 21-0 lead in the second.
Sebastian Torres rushed for a pair of TDs, as did Jack Minasi.
West Canada (2-2) will visit Oriskany next Saturday, while Waterville (1-3) hosts Mohawk on Friday night.
