ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - If you thought West Canada Valley's Jared Suderley has done it all, you would be wrong. The senior scored a career high 40 points in the Indians 59-57 overtime win over Onondaga in the Section III Class C-2 Boys Basketball Semifinals at RFA Saturday. Suderley scored 20 of his 40 points in the first half, then hit the deciding free throws with three seconds left in the extra period.
Suderley, who had 20 of his team's 25 first half points, also had 15 rebounds. Taylor Bassett had 21 points to lead the Tigers.
West Canada advances to the Class C-2 championship at the Aud, to meet Watertown IHC, who beat Mohawk 72-50 in the other Semifinal. It's the third time in four years that the Indians have made it this far, and just like the previous two times, they're undeated at 20-0.
