West Canada gets first win on new floor

NEWPORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Playing their first game on a new floor, the West Canada boys basketball team won their second game of the year, beating Adirondack 74-67 in overtime Saturday.  The Indians led by as many as 18, but the Wildcats came back to force the extra period.

Kyle Humphrey scored 13 of his 26 points in the first quarter, while Tyler Porter had 26 points and 15 rebounds, while Xavier Maxwell added 11 points and 10 assists.

The Indians (2-0) will next play Wednesday at Dolgeville.
