H.S. Track & Field: West Canada runners sweep section

WKTV - The West Canada Valley boys and girls track & field teams pulled off a spectacular feat this spring, winning both Section III C2 team titles.  The boys won their third title in four years.

The girls team won the CSC Division I title for the third straight season, finishing the regular season undefeated for the first time in over a decade. 

Sarah Wiatr won all four of her sectional events and qualified for the state meet at Caledonia-Mumford high school, in the triple jump.  Last year she finished fifth overall in Divsion II in the event.  Her other section titles were in the 100m, the 200m and the long jump.  She also won section titles in 2010 in 100m, the long jump and the triple jump, as well as another in 2009 in the 200m.

Jack Minasi won the Divsion II high jump at sectionals and is also going to states.
