ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Westmoreland Bulldogs just could not match the speed of the Groton Indians. The Section IV champs ran to a 27-3 halftime lead en route to a 40-11 win on Friday night.
In the first quarter, on the second Groton possesion, Ethan Tilbean rumbled 77 yards for the touchdown to give the Indians a 7-0 lead. Despite getting sacked three times, Westmoreland was able to score on a 32 yard field goal by Kevin Eisnor. Indians led 7-3 after one.
Second quarter, after a long drive, the Indians scored on a one yard quarterback sneak to take a 13-3 lead.
