WESTMORELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Westmoreland boys basketball team picked up a win at home on Saturday, 51-44 over Sauquoit Valley. The Indians came back from a 15 point deficit at the end of the third quarter, to trail by just 4, but the Warriors held on for their second win of the year (2-1). Saquoit Valley fell to 1-3.
Jason Colburn led the way for Westmoreland with 15 points, while Dan DeCarlo added 14. Ryan Critelli led all scorers, with 19 points, to go along with 7 rebounds for the Indians. Critelli scored 13 of his 19 in the fourth quarter.
Sauquoit Valley will play their next game Monday, when they host Ilion, while Westmoreland will host Hamilton on Tuesday.
