Whitesboro beats RFA in overtime


WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro boys basketball team beat RFA 75-70 in overtime Friday night.  T.J. Borza led the Warriors with 28 points, while Luke Moore had 21 and Vin Cotrupe added 20.

Whitesboro (8-4, 3-4 TVL) came back from a ten point deficit in the third quarter to force the extra period.  The Warriors led 12-10 after one, but RFA (6-4, 3-3 TVL) came back, outscoring Whiteboro 22-13 in the second to go up 32-25 at the break.

The Warriors responded by outscoring the Black Knights 24-10 in the third quarter, to go up 49-42, but RFA took the fourth quarter 22-15.

The Black Knights were led by Lindell Reed's 19 points, while Tyrone Cowell picked up 16 and Blake Haga 13.
