Kaillie Briscoe '09 scored four goals and added three assists, and nationally ranked No. 5 Hamilton College coasted past visiting Skidmore College, 18-6, in a Liberty League women's lacrosse game at Campus Road Athletic Field on April 11.

Nicole Tetreault '08 also scored four goals as Hamilton (9-1, 3-0 Liberty) won its seventh straight game and 14th in a row at home dating back to last year. Anne Graveley '11 scored three times and caused three turnovers. Sarah Bray '11 and Liz Rave '11 each scored twice. Bray also had an assist. Jen McGowan '08 posted one goal and one assist. Catie Gibbons '09 collected five ground balls, registered an assist and caused three turnovers.

Lauren McCarthy '11 scored once and posted a game-high 12 draw controls for Skidmore (2-9, 0-5 Liberty), which lost its seventh in a row. Sydney Weill '11 scored twice.

Hamilton scored first on an unassisted goal by Briscoe 71 seconds into the first half. McGowan's free position goal just 31 seconds later made it 2-0. McCarthy made it 2-1 with an unassisted goal 12 seconds later, but Hamilton then ran off three unanswered goals to make it 5-2. Rave found the back of the net on a free-position shot with 27:45 left in the half, Briscoe scored on a free-position chance of her own 28 seconds later and Tetreault scored unassisted with 26:56 remaining.

Skidmore's Kimberly Segalas '11 made it 5-2 with 26:15 left on an unassisted goal, but that's the closest the Thoroughbreds would get. Hamilton scored the next eight goals to put the game out of reach, including Bray's game-winner off a Briscoe assist with 21:55 left in the period. The Continentals led 14-4 at the half.

Kate Fowler '10 made three saves for Hamilton. Skidmore's Courtney DeStefano '09 made nine saves.

Hamilton leads the all-time series, 25-8.
