RPI Wins Over Hamilton

WKTV News

The Hamilton College men's lacrosse team have had quite the up and down year. Even though the continentals are flirting around the 500 mark, they have yet to record a Liberty League Victory. With three losses already in the conference, a win today against RPI could go a long way to gaining some momentum.

- 1st period, Hamilton trailing 3 to 1, when Peter Gerrity takes matters into his own hands, great shot past the keeper, and the continentals are down just one.

-Very next possession for RPI, they answer, terrific passing leads to a goal courtesy of Ryan Bigem, Red Hawks lead 4 to 2.

- Later, it's now 5 to 2, but Hamilton was staying close, behind the net, Kevin Coughlin, goes low and finds the back of the net, Continentals trail by two.

- 8 seconds left in the quarter, RPI setting up their attack, Devin Arnold, gets some space and makes them pay, he tallies with only a second on the clock. The red hawks take a 6 to 3 lead into the second quarter.

- RPI wins 11 to 8 beating Hamilton for the 5th straight time.
