West Canada, NY Mills set for Wadas return matchup


NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - It's going to be a repeat championship game at the Ed Wadas Classic, with West Canada Valley and NY Mills boys basketball both winning Friday night.  The two will meet Saturday around 7:45 p.m.

In Friday's first game, West Canada topped Oneida 71-67 to keep their record a perfect 6-0 on the season.  Jordan Yaworski led WCV with 23 points, while Bobby Davenport added 15.

In the second game, Mills topped CVA 59-26, with Nick Comenale leading the Marauders with 25 points.

Saturday's action will begin with Oneida and CVA in the Consolation game, at 6 p.m.
