Top Six at 6: October 14, 2013


#6 - First ever regular season goal for the Utica Comets Friday night in Rochester.  Pascal Pelletier doing the honors, though the team dropped each of their first two games.  (Goal courtesy of SendToNews)

#5 - Frankfort-Schuyler football hosting Clinton Friday night.  Justin Kiesow breaks free and puts up the nice stiff arm to score from 41 yards.  Maroon Knights victorious 54-20.

#4 - Westmoreland welcoming Sandy Creek Saturday in a rematch of last year's Class D section final at the Dome.  QB Tyler Deveans sprinting up the near sideline and scored from 54 yards.  Bulldogs won 30-20 to clinch the D Central title.

#3 - West Canada at Dolgeville Saturday.  First quarter, Blue Devil QB Reid Johnson goes long and finds Johann Doerrer who makes the grab and gets the feet down inbounds.  Indians though handing Dolgeville their first loss of the season, 26-7

#2 - Herkimer at Waterville Friday night.  Defending Sports Express Player of the Year Austin Mills weaving his way in and out of traffic en route to a 48 yard touchdown.  Magicians won 52-20.

#1 - Whitesboro-NH Friday night.  Spartans with a trick play just before halftime as Adam Zogby dumps it to Steve Tomaino who throws the option pass to Dominick Pfisterer for a 23 yard touchdown.  Warriors won the game though, 14-6.
