Marrone to coach Buffalo Bills

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKTV) - Doug Marrone is moving down the Thruway as the Buffalo Bills have chosen the Syracuse Orange coach to lead the team, according to several sources.

Sources say Marrone interviewed with the Bills on Friday night and agreed to accept the position.

The job was made available after Chan Gailey was fired for going 16-32 over three seasons.

Marrone has been head coach of the Orange for four seasons and has helped lead the team to improvement, coming off of their second Pinstripe Bowl win.

No official announcement by the Bills has been made.
