Sports analyst Seth Davis loses bet over Syracuse game

By ANDREW DONOVAN

ATLANTA (WKTV) - Seth Davis, a basketball analyst for CBS Sports and Sports Illustrated seen during NCAA Tournament coverage, followed through on a bet he made over the Syracuse Orange game.

During last Sunday's selection show, Davis picked 13-seed Montana to upset the 4-seed Syracuse Orange.

After some local outrage amongst Syracuse fans, Syracuse-based radio hosts Gomez and Dave called out Davis. In an interview, they made a fun wager over the game.

If Syracuse won, Davis would have to wear Orange gear and hold up a pennant on the NCAA Tournament postgame show on TruTV.

If Montana won, Gomez and Dave agreed to jump into icy lake waters in Central New York wearing some Grizzlies gear.

As we know, the Orange crushed Montana Thursday night, and shortly thereafter, Davis appeared on national television donning an Orange wig, boa scarf and holding a pennant.

Gomez and Dave are heard in the Utica-Rome market on 96.9 WOUR.
