Orange Nation out in full force in CNY

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - While some fans made the trip nearly 1,000 miles to Atlanta, some Orange Nation fans remained home to cheer on the 'Cuse.

Swifty's Restaurant and Pub was among the places filled to capacity Saturday night as the Orange played in the Final Four. The restaurant expected the crowd and had extra staff on-hand and food and drink specials.

It was a sea of Orange throughout the restaurant. Gregory Tomidy, of New Hartford, has been brining a group of Orange faithful to Swifty's all season and did not want to break with tradition for this big game.

The Orange's well-known defense helped bring confidence to the crowd.

The Celtic Harp on Varick Street was also packed as they held a Syracuse Orange Party. They featured the Boeheim Burger which includes toppings of Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Thousand Island dressing all on multi-grain bread.
