EXPLANATION

Steve McMurray
STEVE MCMURRAY

SCORE:
21-13

I've been a Steelers fan since kindergarten when they beat the L.A. Rams (yes, they used play in Anaheim) so I can't pick against the Black and Gold. The Steelers have the top rated Defense in the league and Big Ben and the Offense was able to get by the 2nd rated Defense (Baltimore) three times this season. Arizona has a deep threat in Larry Fitzgerald, but Kurt Warner may face too much pressure from the 2008-09 Steel Curtain to find him.

I don’t know anything about football. It’s the one sport I never got into. Steve is a HUGE Steelers fan…as is my boyfriend. So I guess, by default, that makes me a Steelers fan. I love Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band…I predict he is going to put on an amazing show (with no wardrobe malfunctions).

SCORE:
30-27

The Steelers defense will have their problems slowing down the high powered offense led by Kurt Warner, but in the end, they will get it done. Also look for the Steelers running game to be a factor. Willie Parker will be huge for Pittsburgh especially with Hines Ward slowed down due to injury. Gotta love Kurt Warner on the big stage as well.

(Remember I was the one who said we'd see gasoline under 3 bucks by the end of the year) READY????? READY?????? READY????? OKAY...HERE IT COMESSUPERBOWL: WINNER: Steelers by 5 points

I think Arizona has the most complete team in the league. Their defense is tough but most importantly fast. Their wide open big play offense is very similar to the 99 Rams who Kurt Warner led to a Super Bowl title. However as good as the Cards offense is, the Steeler defense is that much better. Physical! I think their defense alone will win the game for them, possible even score a touchdown or two. My only hope for this game is it's as entertaining as last years big game. Key Players: Rookie linebacker Pat Bailey from Duke ( just a joke, but cool to share his name) MVP: Cornerback Deshea Townsend

Being that I am probably the only person on the planet who does not watch the Superbowl, I'm going to have to say the Steelers. Why so bold and sure a pick if I don't watch anyway or know what I'm talking about? Because that's my boss's (Steve's) team. And if he's happy on Monday due to a win...the workplace will be a good place to be.

SCORE:
28-13

Arizona has a terrific offense anchored by Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald, but it won’t matter if the offensive line can’t handle Pittsburgh’s defense. Steeler ‘backers James Harrison, and Lamar Woodley will make Warner’s life miserable Sunday. I expect Warner to throw two interceptions and fumble at least once. Key players- Willie Parker- RB Pittsburgh, Nate Washington WR- Pittsburgh MVP- James Harrison
STEVE KIESA   I think this game is going to be high scoring and closer than people think. Big Ben should do better than his Superbowl XL performance where he went for 9 for 21 and threw two interceptions. Kurt Warner has played in the big game twice before so the Cards have a good on-field leader with Super Bowl experience as well. Also, Coach Ken Whisenhunt was on the sideline with the Steelers back in 2005, which I think may give an advantage to the Cardinals. Steelers have a great defense but at the same time if Arizona can get there offense rolling on all cylinders it pretty hard to stop as well. Going Out on a Limb(haha bird reference) Cardnials Win 28-24.
MIKE LAFAVE

Larry Fitzgerald will catch 2 TD passes... Pitt's def will score a TD And Big Ben will be named Superbowl MVP.  SCORE:  23-17

GRANT DEBRUIN

Pittsburge 27, Arizona 21

I have no clue, just my wild guesses.

COREY POMEROY
