Cejka takes lead at Turning Stone

VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Alex Cejka shot a 68 during Friday's second round of the 2010 Turning Stone Resort Championship, dropping his overall score to ten under par and taking a one stroke lead over Chris Tidland and Rory Sabbatini heading into the weekend.  The cut line to make it to the weekend was two under par.

Tidland shot seven birdies and four bogeys for the day and sits at nine under, tied with Sabbatini, one of the first round co-leaders, who made a late charge, including a birdie on 18.

Six golfers are tied for third at seven under, including Sabbatini's first round co-leader, Omar Uresti.

Among the big names not advancing to the weekend were Rocco Mediate, Notah Begay III and young Rochester native Gavin Hall.

Saturday's third round tee times for the leaders are:

12:19 p.m. -  Brian Davis and Josh Teater

12:28 p.m. - John Mallinger and Omar Uresti

12:37 p.m. - Steve Elkington and Woody Austin

12:46 p.m. - Rory Sabbatini and Robert Garrigus

12:55 p.m. - Alex Cejka and Chris Tidland
