StormTracker 2 Forecast Discussion On the Go

Today's weather will continue to be influenced by the outer edge of a nor'easter sitting off the Atlantic Coast.  The storm system has shifted a bit farther to the east this morning.  This means the heaviest rainfall will stay east of Central New York.  Clouds and rain showers this afternoon, with highs in the low 50s.  Breezy.  Clouds and showers continue tonight with overnight lows in the low 40s.  

The weather improves Friday as this storm finally departs to the east.  Skies will clear out late Friday, meaning a return to sunshine and highs in the mid 50s.  A pleasant start to the weekend, with sunshine on Saturday.  A cold front from Canada will bring rain showers late in the day but not before temperatures top out in the upper 50s.  Cooler, cloudy weather returns Sunday with the risk for lake effect rain showers.  Warmer weather expected early next week.
