One of our viewers, Tony, captured this funnel cloud north of Rome on Sunday evening. The video shows a funnel cloud, which is a rotating cloud that isn't on the ground. Funnel clouds are precursors to tornadoes. Not every funnel cloud becomes a tornado. A rare sighting for Central New York.
