BAINBRIDGE, N.Y. (WKTV) - The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touchdown in Chenango County. Portions of Central New York were affected by the line of thunderstorms brought on by a cold front. Oneida County did see some heavy winds and rain, but no damage. The National Weather Service had issued a tornado warning for Otsego, Chenango and Delaware Counties. Otsego County also saw significant wind and rain, but reports only indicate very minor damage, if any. Utica's high temperature Friday was 73 degrees according to StormTracker 2 Meteorologist Jill Reale, which significantly dropped when the cold front moved in.
