Veterans Day Memorial

The town of Clifton Park unveiled a new memorial for Veterans Day in memory of those who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. The project was spearheaded by former Oneonta Mayoral Candidate Jason Corrigan of Clifton Park, who worked with Clifton Park town supervisor Phil Barrett and The American Legion Post 1450 in establishing the memorial.

The event drew over 300 people with Congressman Chris Gibson and State Senator Roy McDonald speaking at the ceremony.

Shaking hands with Gibson huh? Seems like the stuff in Oneonta isn't holding him back, good for Corrigan!

Great Job Jason, I am sure there are plenty of veterans who are grateful for actions like this taken by young men and women like Jason!
